WISE J033605.05-014350.4 is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.01 solar masses, 415 K). WISE J033605.05-014350.4 b is a 8.25-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 7.01 years, at 0.970 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 325 K, discovered in 2023 via direct imaging. Direct imaging revealed these planets because they are young, massive, and widely separated from their star, appearing bright in infrared light against the glare. WISE J033605.05-014350.4 b circles its star within the inner habitable zone. At 8.3 Jupiter masses, the companion lies near the dividing line between giant planets and brown dwarfs.
