UCAC3 113-933 is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.61 solar masses, 3,864 K), 52.6 light-years from Earth. UCAC3 113-933 b is a 21.0-Jupiter-mass companion, at 6,100 AU from its star, discovered in 2024 via direct imaging. Direct imaging revealed these planets because they are young, massive, and widely separated from their star, appearing bright in infrared light against the glare. UCAC3 113-933 b orbits far from its host star. At 21.0 Jupiter masses, the companion lies near the dividing line between giant planets and brown dwarfs.
