TWA 7 is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.46 solar masses, 3,509 K), 34.0 light-years from Earth. TWA 7 b is a 0.34-Jupiter-mass companion, at 52.0 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 316 K, discovered in 2025 via direct imaging. Direct imaging revealed these planets because they are young, massive, and widely separated from their star, appearing bright in infrared light against the glare. TWA 7 b orbits far from its host star. Located about 34.0 light-years away, TWA 7 is one of the nearer exoplanet hosts on the sky.
