TOI-715 is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.23 solar masses, 3,075 K, 0.24 solar radii), 42.4 light-years from Earth. TOI-715 b is a planet with 1.6 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 19.3 days, at 0.083 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 234 K, discovered in 2023 via transit. At least one planet may receive an Earth-like flux of starlight, placing this system on the short list of potentially habitable worlds worth detailed atmospheric study. TOI-715 b orbits well inside Earth's distance from the Sun.
