TOI-6448 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.03 solar masses, 5,910 K, 0.90 solar radii), 387 light-years from Earth. TOI-6448 b is a planet with 8.5 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 14.8 days, at 0.131 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 745 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.20), discovered in 2025 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
