TOI-6038 A is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.29 solar masses, 6,110 K, 1.65 solar radii), 179 light-years from Earth. TOI-6038 A b is a 0.25-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 5.8 days, at 0.069 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,439 K, discovered in 2025 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry. TOI-6038 A b orbits well inside Earth's distance from the Sun.
