TOI-6002 is a cool M-dwarf (about 0.21 solar masses, 3,229 K, 0.24 solar radii), 32.0 light-years from Earth. TOI-6002 b is a planet with 1.6 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 10.9 days, at 0.057 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 321 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.15), discovered in 2024 via transit. At least one planet may receive an Earth-like flux of starlight, placing this system on the short list of potentially habitable worlds worth detailed atmospheric study.
