TOI-5726 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.06 solar masses, 5,874 K, 1.11 solar radii), 109 light-years from Earth. TOI-5726.01 is a planet with 2.6 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 5.5 days, at 0.062 AU from its star, discovered in 2024 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry. TOI-5726.01 orbits well inside Earth's distance from the Sun. Repeated transit observations constrain the planet's orbital inclination and stellar density, anchoring the system's physical scale.
