TOI-261.01 is a planet with 3.0 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 3.4 days, at 0.035 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,722 K, discovered in 2021 via transit. TOI-261.02 is a planet with 3.3 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 13.0 days, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,008 K, discovered in 2021 via transit. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
