TOI-2485 is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.16 solar masses, 6,016 K, 1.72 solar radii), 398 light-years from Earth. TOI-2485 b is a 2.41-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 11.2 days, at 0.109 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,134 K, discovered in 2024 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry. TOI-2485 b orbits well inside Earth's distance from the Sun.
