TOI-2449 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.08 solar masses, 6,021 K, 1.06 solar radii), 157 light-years from Earth. TOI-2449 b is a 0.70-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 106 days, at 0.450 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 400 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.10), discovered in 2025 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry. TOI-2449 b circles its star within the inner habitable zone.
