TOI-1710 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.02 solar masses, 5,775 K, 0.93 solar radii), 81.2 light-years from Earth. TOI-1710 b is a 0.06-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 24.3 days, at 0.165 AU from its star, discovered in 2022 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry. TOI-1710 b orbits well inside Earth's distance from the Sun. Its low mass makes TOI-1710 b a Neptune- or super-Earth-class world rather than a gas giant.
