TOI-1269 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 0.90 solar masses, 5,499 K, 0.85 solar radii), 172 light-years from Earth. TOI-1269 b is a 6.4-Earth-mass planet, with an orbital period of 4.3 days, at 0.050 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,005 K, discovered in 2024 via transit. TOI-1269 c is a planet with 2.2 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 9.2 days, discovered in 2026 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
