TIC 88785435 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 0.72 solar masses, 3,998 K, 0.91 solar radii), 122 light-years from Earth. TIC 88785435 b is a planet with 5.0 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 10.5 days, at 0.084 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 635 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.13), discovered in 2025 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
