TIC 237913194 is a Sun-like G-type star (about 1.03 solar masses, 5,788 K, 1.09 solar radii), 306 light-years from Earth. TIC 237913194 b is a 1.94-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 15.2 days, at 0.121 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 974 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.57), discovered in 2020 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
