TIC 147027702 is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.41 solar masses, 6,410 K, 2.14 solar radii), 457 light-years from Earth. TIC 147027702 b is a 1.09-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 44.4 days, at 0.274 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 863 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.13), discovered in 2026 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
