Kepler-1660 A is a Sun-like F-type star (about 1.14 solar masses, 6,305 K, 1.49 solar radii), 1,189 light-years from Earth. Kepler-1660 AB b is a 4.99-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 240 days, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.06), discovered in 2023 via eclipse timing variations. Kepler-1660 A adds another data point to the growing catalogue of planetary systems whose masses, orbits, and host-star properties constrain models of planet formation. At roughly 1,189 light-years, Kepler-1660 A lies far beyond the nearest stars yet remains reachable to large survey telescopes.
