Kepler-1489 c is a planet with 0.5 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 16.3 hours, discovered in 2024 via transit. Kepler-1489 b is a planet with 1.8 Earth radii, with an orbital period of 82.3 days, discovered in 2016 via transit. The planet was found when it crossed the face of its star, producing periodic dips in brightness that reveal its size and orbital period to space-based photometry.
