HD 99706 is an orange K-type dwarf (about 1.46 solar masses, 4,862 K, 5.52 solar radii), 147 light-years from Earth. HD 99706 b is a 1.23-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 2.30 years, at 1.980 AU from its star, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.25), discovered in 2011 via radial velocity. HD 99706 c is a 5.69-Jupiter-mass companion, with an orbital period of 3.50 years, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.41), discovered in 2016 via radial velocity. Mutual gravitational tugs between the planets can slowly reshape their orbits, preserving clues to the system's assembly.
