HD 135344 A is a bright A-type star (about 2.32 solar masses, 9,540 K, 1.50 solar radii), 142 light-years from Earth. HD 135344 A b is a 10.0-Jupiter-mass companion, at 16.5 AU from its star, and an equilibrium temperature near 1,585 K, on an eccentric orbit (e ≈ 0.50), discovered in 2025 via direct imaging. Direct imaging revealed these planets because they are young, massive, and widely separated from their star, appearing bright in infrared light against the glare. The planet's marked eccentricity suggests past scattering events or perturbations from unseen companions.
